Tips For Gym-Goer Beginners

IN this artical we share tips for the gym goer beginners When beginning exercise program, it’s important to pace yourself and not risk injury.Schedule it, make your morning exercise session something you can’t skip.

  • Do a class. many gyms offer classes that start at morning. Since no one wants to be the person that walks out in the middle of the class, I’d be willing to bet you’ll stay through the end.

  • Stretching right before a workout may seem like the best thing to do, but you might be putting yourself at risk of injury. After you warm up, you should stretch your muscles and hold it for about 15 seconds.

  •  Make it a competition… with a reward, of course! If you and a gym buddy are both on a quest to make early exercise dates a habit, come up with a little challenge. Maybe you’ll decide the first one to miss a day has to do 20 extra push-ups. If you’re working out solo, treat yourself to new gym gear after a solid month’s worth of commitment.

  • Stretching after every workout helps in avoiding muscle ache and pain after the workout and the next day. It also maintains the blood flow into your muscles and veins and saves you from getting any injuries.

  • Have something tasty to look forward to. Some experts say the golden window for post-workout nutrition is 30 to 60 minutes after we finish exercising, so make breakfast your next priority. Try a blended smoothie with greens, protein powder, and frozen berries or a parfait with granola, yogurt, and fresh fruit.

  •   Take baby steps. Start by setting back your alarm by five minutes this week. Next week, go for another five. You’ll be getting up an hour earlier before you know it.

  • Carbohydrates and proteins are important because your body needs energy to get going. You needs fuel so do intake fruits and high fibre products so that you get long lasting energy for your work out. You can go for a jam and jelly sandwich or a low fat cheese food item.

  •   Never feel that you shouldn't be in the weights area if you are working on a program or feel intimidated by anyone in the gym, you have every right to be there as much as any one else.

  •   If you don't feel sure of anything never be afraid to ask in classes or the gym, no question is stupid.

  •  Set your goal and keep yourself motivated by reminding yourself about it again and again, find yourself a partner to workout with so that you don’t break the routine and you stay dedicated to it and do not get bored of it.

  •  If you're just starting out at the gym this new year I would start off slowly but surely, it's better for the long term. Start with working out for 30 minutes, focusing mainly on strength training with some interval training at the end. If you're new to the gym begin with just the weights machines until you build up sufficient strength to deal with free weights.
